One Resume To Rule Them All

Most companies get inundated with resumes. I was thinking of ways to jazz things up and I stumbled across this font website.

Hello! This is how I can truly stand out and show people my creative side. Here's my resume in Elvish. References available upon request.

    Dear Applicant,

Apologies, your application was refused due to HR Clause #22679 in which the following scenario is a persistent danger:

In the place of a Dark Lord we would end up with a Queen. Not dark but beautiful and terrible as the Morn. Treacherous as the Seas. Stronger than the foundations of the Earth. All would be forced to love you and despair!

Please reference application #22700-AAC 12 for future questions or interest in our company, Sauron and Bros. Inc. LLC.

We look forward to your continued patronage and interest in our line of subjugation products.

    Sincerely,

    Lewis P. Stinglebat

  2. I thought my post was pretty geeky until I read your comment, Q.

I bow before the presence of the Ultimate Geek.

  3. I'm disappointed Q, you had a chance to sign that as Mangrave P. Stoatwarbler.

    *sighs*

  4. This post and Q's comment combined make this the best thing I've read so far today.

    Thank you. :)

  6. You all seriously, have way toooo much time on your hands.

But I will admit, it was time well spent. :)

  7. Hmm, I'm not sure you would want to work for anyone who could read this resume - they expect perfection in all areas, especially personal grooming; they sign you to a 1000-year contract; and they expect you to take time off only after you get to the Undying Lands.
