Adventures in Cooking

If learning how to cook were as simple as following recipes, I'd have my own Food network show by now.

This weekend, one of the boy's friends is dropping by to teach me how to make some authentic Indian and Pakistani dishes. Then later in the afternoon, more of his friends are dropping by to eat all the food. Hmmm.

Yesterday, I made some samosas (fried pastry with spicy potato, onion, pea and other vegetable stuffing). Now that I've begun my internship in the kitchen, here's the first in a series of upcoming cooking tips: wear appropriate clothing when deep frying.
